After payment, consumers can expect to get a new phase depending on their meter load. Read this article for a complete overview of how to check and pay your MEPCO Demand Notice

What is the MEPCO Demand Notice?

A Demand Notice is simply a payment notice for your new electricity phase at Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO). It’s issued to all selected applicants after verification of their documents. If you don’t know how to apply for a MEPCO New Connection, you can check our detailed guide.

  • Open the ENC website.
  • Navigate to the Track button from the left side of the screen.
  • Select the Company Name (in this case, MEPCO).
  • Enter the Tracking ID of your application.
  • Tap on Submit button.

A Tracking ID is a special number allocated to the new phase application that you get at the time of submission. However, if you lost your Tracking ID, you can still track the MEPCO Demand Notice using your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

Moreover, you can also receive the notice at your email address or postal address as per NEPRA’s orders. Nevertheless, checking through the online ENC portal is the quickest method to obtain it, as mail might take several days.

How to Pay the Demand Notice at the Bank?

You can pay your MEPCO Demand Notice in just two simple steps. First, wait for the notice to arrive and print a copy of it. Next, make the payment at the assigned bank. Keep reading for a more detailed overview.

Print The Demand Notice:

Once the Demand Notice is issued, follow these steps to get it printed:

  • Go to the ENC website.

  • Tap on New Connection in the application type.

After that, the MEPCO Demand Notice will be downloaded as a PDF to your phone, PC, or laptop, and you can then have the PDF printed at any printing shop. If you receive a physical copy of the notice by mail, you can skip this step. However, if you receive it by email, you will still need to download the PDF to your device and have it printed at a stationery shop.

Pay at The Designated Bank

The copy of your Demand Notice will include your new connection payment details and the bank where you should pay the notice. So, when you print the notice or obtain it by mail, you’ll need to submit it to the assigned bank.

  • Go to the  ENC website.
  • Click on the Upload DN option from the side menu
  • Tap on New Connection in the application type.
  • Enter your Tracking ID or CNIC.
  • Select the Submit button.
  • Scroll through and Upload your Demand Notice

Once done, this will send your paid Demand Notice Information to the electricity installation officer. However, you must also submit the paid notice copy at your respective MEPCO office for record.
